Maya Kim is a multimedia artist from New Hampshire. She is currently a fourth year at the University of Virginia studying Studio Art and Sociology. She is intent on exploring the realities of being an Asian person in the United States as well as the formation of the collective Asian American identity. She works primarily in a combination of fiber arts and printmaking to observe the cross-section between American aesthetics and Asian American resistance.
